The Opportunity

Industrial Communications is a leader in the wireless communications industry and currently has an opening for an experienced Warehouse Manager. We are seeking a self-driven, ambitious, responsible individual to assist with the setup and organization of our new warehouse who will be responsible for inventory control and with the ongoing management of our construction warehouse operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a warehouse staff of 1 to 2 people;
  • Organization, stocking and management of tower, electrical and civil construction physical inventory items;
  • Collaboration with Purchasing as it relates to order receipts and disposition of inventory in the warehouse;
  • Collaboration with Project Managers/Foremen as it relates to organizing and disbursement of inventory for daily projects;
  • Proficiency in the use of our inventory management database software and MS Office applications to perform all inventory/warehouse workflow functions;
  • Monitor inventory usage and maintain appropriate inventory levels;
  • Review inventory reports in the system to ensure accuracy to physical inventory counts;
  • Receive deliveries, inspect for damage, and determine inventory locations in the warehouse;
  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of materials to and from work crew service vehicles;
  • Oversee and maintain proper care and maintenance of warehouse equipment;
  • Responsible for cleanliness of the entire warehouse and loading dock at all times;
  • Ensure that materials are staged within safety guidelines at all times in the warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • Three years plus of warehouse experience;
  • Asset and inventory management experience;
  • Experience using a computerized inventory control system, SAP Business One preferred;
  • Self-motivated and good communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
  • Completion of tasks in a timely manner;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • A valid driver’s license is required;
  • Must successfully pass a background and drug test;
  • Fork-lift certified/experience a plus;
  • Attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety a must;
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Industrial Communications, an industry leader in wireless communications experiencing rapid growth, has immediate openings for Technician Trainees at our Marshfield, MA Headquarters.

Starting hourly rate $ 20.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Position involves working in construction services building towers, climbing towers or other elevated structures to perform inspections, installations, testing, and maintenance services for the wireless industry including cellular, broadcast, and public safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid driver’s license / ability to acquire a DOT medical card
  • Participation in job and safety
  • Understand and strictly adhere to safety and quality guidelines without deviation
  • Must have understanding of basic mechanical terms and tools
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Comfortable climbing/working at heights above 200 feet in varying/inclement weather conditions
  • Physically capable of carrying up to 51
  • Flexibility to work overtime and road trips when required (road trips are not common but do occur)
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality

Job Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid DOT medical card
• Proven Leadership Skills
• Understand and strictly adhere to safety and quality guidelines without deviation
• Participation in job and safety training
• Ability to read and understand plans (CDs) and communicate with project managers
• Ability to utilize all testing equipment (PIM Test, Setting Rets, Sweep Tests, Fiber Testing, Troubleshoots, and AAT Tool).
• Ability to make connectors for all RF and DC cable
• OSHA 30 hour
• Physically capable of carrying up to 51 pounds
• Comfortable climbing/working at heights above 200 feet in varying/inclement weather conditions
• Flexibility to work overtime and road trips when required, including some weekends
• Strong work ethic and punctuality
